Blessing of the Animals
Saint Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals and the Environment, believed that nature itself was the mirror of God. He called all creatures his brothers and sisters; he even preached to the birds. There is also a (perhaps apocryphal) tale where persuaded a wolf to stop attacking some locals if they agreed to feed the wolf in exchange. On his feast day we we gather to give thanks for our pets and all creatures great and small.

Bring a picture of your pet to be blessed, or bring your pet’s favorite toy to be blessed.
Free grooming!
Free grooming will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Come out early!
Service for remembrance
We will have a service in remembrance of the pets we have lost.
